Well, it's that time of year again, where we are just a step closer to seeing the major award ceremonies recognize the artistry of this past year's films, staring with the Golden Globe Awards.
There is a nice diversity of films and TV shows nominated for the awards this year, including Bodyguard from Netflix and Pose from FX for Best TV Series - Drama, Incredibles 2, Isle of Dogs, and Ralph Breaks the Internet all for Best Animated Feature, Mary Poppins Returns for Best Actress, Actor, and Picture in a Comedy or Musical Picture, and last but not least, Black Panther for Best Picture - Drama.
Even The Dark Knight with Heath Ledger didn't get the kind of recognition that Black Panther just did.
But even then, Black Panther has become only the third superhero movie to receive a nomination for Best Picture at the Golden Globes, the first two being The Incredibles and Deadpool.
