Coming Soon in 2026...

Originally, I meant to look at Pokémon Adventures’ sequel to Ruby & Sapphire, Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, last year. However, there’d been some unforeseen delays concerning the series’ extended conclusion coming to fruition back in Japan. It’s a long story how that is so, but until the last volume of this series makes it here in America with this ending included, I will put a hold on that until it comes around.

Until then, however, I have here a hefty sampling of what to expect throughout 2026. Among this lineup are two themed months celebrating two of the most profitable and critically acclaimed animated franchises of all time: Toy Story and How to Train Your Dragon. And don’t worry, Toy Story Month will also include the upcoming Toy Story 5.

And let’s say I contemplated doing a Space-themed month, but I was one title short of making it achievable. If you look closely at what I’ll review later, I think you’ll see which ones I have in mind.

And as for The Screened Word Stories, twelve of which I had written last year? I still plan to keep this up, albeit at a different pace and with a different structure. This year, I’ll attempt a seasonal output of these stories, where I’ll share with you one story each for Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. Think of this as Stephen King’s Different Seasons, only on an amateur level.

In conclusion, expect a write-up from me centering on the United States of America’s forthcoming 250th anniversary.

Just so you won’t be confused, Dune: Part Three will be Denis Villeneuve’s adaptation of Dune’s second novel in the series, Dune Messiah. Children of Dune, on the other hand, will be the third novel in the series.
