I don't know if you've read the news, but the word got out that Stoney Westmoreland, the actor who played Andi's grandfather, Mack, has been arrested to attempting to have sex with a preteen boy. To think that he has been going through those underhanded activities behind the scenes is really disheartening, especially for such a great TV show for kids as Andi Mack.
I completely sympathize with the cast and crew for Andi Mack in light of those unexpected and...discouraging news. At the same time, I also fear that the show's reputation might get dampened by the news of Westmoreland's arrest, and while that may affect the show in that Ham would get removed from the show, the show doesn't deserve to get canceled just because of the actions of one actor.
But that's not the only reason. This past Friday, Cyrus wowed audiences with yet another powerful coming out moment, this time, to Jonah, whom he liked. The result was a profound and powerful episode filled wth some meaningful messages about real-life situations and being true to yourself, which is what Andi Mack, the TV show, does best.
Please, will you help me in getting Andi Mack renew by Disney for a fourth season? The show, as well as its cast and crew, needs all the help it can get!
